Thanks to Bethesda, we’ve got a massive Fallout: New Vegas bundle to give away to one sneaky bastard!
This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to our winner!
It was a tough choice, but we finally selected Jason Lewis of VIC’s inventive stealth-related Fallout character perk. Its description is below. Congratulations, Jason – this massive prize is on its way to you!
[The Goon’s Strategy]
As long as the player cannot see a hostile creature/character, he or she is completely invisible and undetectable.
“Fawkes, why are you covering your eyes?” Fawkes attempts to whisper a rebuttal.
“I’m not here Bob. As long as I cannot see you it makes sense that you cannot see me!”
Attention!
As the prize is a (rather hefty) boxed collector’s edition bundle, this competition is only open to residents of Australia and New Zealand. If you fall outside of those territories, we also have great beaches.
This awesome Fallout: New Vegas collector’s bundle includes:
Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (PC)
This complete package, which includes the full version of Fallout: New Vegas as well as the Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road add-on packs, allows you to experience everything that New Vegas has to offer. Each of these four main add-on packs combined ultimately raise the level cap to 50. To sweeten the pot, you’ll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal.
Fallout: New Vegas Collector’s Edition (PC)
- “Lucky 7” poker chips. Each of the seven poker chips was designed to represent chips from the major casinos found on the New Vegas strip and throughout the Mojave Wasteland.
- A fully customised Fallout: New Vegas deck of cards. Each card in the pack has been uniquely illustrated to depict characters and factions found within the game. Use the cards to play poker, blackjack or Caravan, an original card game that was created by Obsidian especially for New Vegas!
- A recreation of the game’s highly coveted “Lucky 38” platinum chip.
- A hard cover graphic novel “All Roads”, that tells the story of some of the characters and events that lead up to Fallout: New Vegas. “All Roads” was written by Chris Avellone, the game’s creative director, and created in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics.
- ‘The Making of Fallout: New Vegas’ DVD. This documentary DVD will contain exclusive video content, including interviews with the developers in which they take you from concept to creation and discuss topics such as story, setting, legacy of the Fallout franchise and more.
So you get the Ultimate Edition of the game – which comes bundled with all of the DLC – as well as the original Collector’s Edition goodies which are no longer available in stores!

Perk: Why Am I Ticking?
Description: Increases the amount of time before a victim of reverse-pickpocketing panics, and the amount of time it takes the explosive to actually go off.
For those of us who don’t like to get our hands dirty… or the rest of us for that matter.
Oh and Jason, it works.
